My father is a little like McGuyver. He’s always been able to fix things and when in a pinch do it with limited resources. When he called me and asked me to help name his business and come up with a design for the brand, I was happy to do so.
The concept of the Aardvark is simple, “We take care of what bugs you”. The request was made that the name should start with an “A” to aid in listings in things like the Yellowpages where an older, more traditional demographic will find his business. I thought, why not make it 2 a’s? Although I was half joking at the time, the concept of an Aardvark and the pestering quality of ants (their main diet) made a lot of sense.
The final designs will implement ants with labels of some sort that identify problems in the home or business, i.e. – leaky faucet, broken door, etc. These are all things that Aardvark Maintenance are equipped to handle.
